You cannot ordinarily do this in a spreadsheet. You could use VBA, but that means intrusion and if not done properly, a threat to the integrity to the system of formulas that depends on the cell where you intrude.

Come on Aladin! VBA is a great addition to a great program! If Excel could do everything on it's own, we wouldn't need VBA, but it doesn't, so we do....
