Macro for external data

I would like to setup a macro to get external data fro our AS400 and put it into a spreedsheet. I start the macro to record do the key strokes to get external data. Whent I go and look at the VB code in the macro, there is no code recorded. Any help would be great.

Jim: Make sure you click on "Stop Recording". That should do it! ART
