Macro fever

I put 2 shortcut macros in my worksheet to keep from retyping text that is used alot. This works very well. However, if I close Excel & then open up the sheet again the macros don't work & I can't find them anywhere within Excel or in visual basic. What gives!?

For Macros to be universally available, be sure to store them in the Personal.xls located in the Xlstart folder. If Personal.xls doe not exist, you will have to create it.

are you saving the workbook before exiting? or are you trying to use another book's macro in a new book? if the second is true then refer to lenze's reply :-)
