how to insert relative cell references into a vb macro

How do I make my cell references in a macro relative, i.e., if I change the cell location, the cell reference automatically updates. Right now it is not doing this for me. Is this possible?

Don't understand what you're trying to do.

Are you creating formulas ? are you doing calculations, formatting, etc. with a range of cells ? can you explain a little more please ?
