gridlines

When I open a new worksheet, all the columns and rows gridlines display on the screen but when I print it doesn't show. My question is when I copy from cells to cells those display gridlines disappear so it hard to see a line across. Is there a way to show the view gridlines online but when printing it didn't print the gridlines.

A good example is the form that I filled out the question to you. all the cells in the boxes such name, email were blank. And outside these boxes it shows borders but when didn't when print it out.

Thank you,
Tuan

Probably not excel's fault

If printing out a sheet from a webpage also failed to produce lines, then excel is probably not the problem. You can check to see if excel is trying to print gridlines by going File-->Print Preview, and on the print preview screen clicking on the "setup" button. Click on the "sheet" tab. There is a check box under the "Print" heading for "gridlines". If the box is checked, then excel is trying to print gridlines.

If the problem is not related to excel, my first suspicion is a bad printer driver. Try deleting the printer from the printers folder (under Start-->settings-->printers) reboot, and reinstall the driver, or get a new one off of the web. If that doesnt work, then maybe it is the printer or the printer cable. Try switching out components (cables, printers) with known functioning systems to see if you can isolate the problem.
Good Luck!
