How may I remove the links in a workbook? The problem
is that I have "inherited" a workbook from someone and
it has a lot of useless links when you go to "Edit" and
then "Links".

Thank you very much!

:Remove a hyperlink and the text or graphic that represents it
To remove a hyperlink and the text that represents it, right-click the hyperlink, and click Clear Contents on the shortcut menu.

To remove a hyperlink and the graphic that represents it, hold down CTRL and click the graphic, and then press DELETE.
Note To remove a hyperlink that was created by using the HYPERLINK workbook function, use the arrow keys to select the cell that contains the formula, and then press DELETE.

Microsoft also has an Excel Add-In called dellink.xla that identifies the links in the spreadsheet. You can search their website for the download.

One other trick - check the 'Name' fields box for extraneous named fields (and links) which are no longer relevant to the spreadsheet. The dellink.xla add-in will identify this as a source of the problem, but won't be able to remove it.

Hope this helps.
