Linking Cells

I need to create a master worksheet and other worksheets that reference the cells in the master. I would like the cells to update with the information from the master, so I only have to make changes in one worksheet. I have looked through help, but can't even understand what it would be called. I have tried "linking" and "referencing." Please help.
