MS Word document

I want to provide a set of USER instructions in Word format when I publish my workbook. How can I get my xl program to open the word document 'c:\sales\instructions.doc'?

Not sure if you can use an Excel macro to open a word document, but why not set up a hyperlink to your file?

That way, the user can simply click the link to open the Word document.

Hope this is a feasible option!

Thanks, this works great. I was trying to make it work with a button on my main menu form so that the user would never see a spreadsheet in this particular operation.
