watermark

I am attempting to put a text watermark on my worksheet.
How do I go about doing this?

I sometimes do this by adding a semi-transparent wordart picture...

insert
picture
wordart
select style

then right click on the picture to edit the format, you can assign a light font colour and check the "semi-transparent" box

it's not ideal though !

Ren,

You can add a bitmap background graphic to a worksheet using Format -> Background. Unfortunately, this background picture does not print (which is probably what you want to do), but I thought I would mention it just in case you only needed it to display on the screen.
