to much data in a cell

Hi guys, nagging problem.
In row 2 i have some heave data say in cell B2:H2 the cell cover the rows so i cant see the heading in rowA its a pain. I have many cells full of data
Whats the work arround?

Go to window, in toolbar, select split, drag the vertical line off to the left to get rid of it and position the horizontal to view your headings.
