how can i dictate what cell i'll jump to when hitting "enter or tab" keys. i want to jump over cells
that don't require user input. do have to rely no VBA for this?

Unprotect the cells that you want the user to be able to input into. When you protect the sheet, all cells that are protected will be skipped when the user presses the tab key.
