Short Cut Key for Number Format

Is anyone aware of a short cut key to enter a number AS IS into a cell.

i.e. you enter 012 and it converts to 12
I know you can format the cell to take the number as text but I want a shortcut key to take it directly.

I am aware of the Ctrl+Shift+! cut - that's not what I'm looking for.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
