Setting cells not to cover each other....

is there a way for me to make black text sit on top of other cells so that it is visable.... (if that makes sense)

i have a spreadsheet with 10 cells all scrunched together with most of the having the value 1 or 0 in them, which i have coloured white so that they aren't visable... but every so often there is some text in black that is partly hidden by the other cell is there a way that i can set it so this black text is totally visable and not partly hidden...

something like in paint shop pro where you can bring layers to the front, only in excel i'd be bringing the black text cells to the front so that they sit on top of the other cells (and thus are visable)

Hope taht makes sense

If you want a quick way of manually checking, use Find & replace, replace it with ZZ099, and then replace it back again. The first time you do it should show you how many replacements were made.
