Sequence check in Excel

I would like to do a sequence check in excel, for instance to see that all there are no holes in a sequence from 25000 to 50000 of numbers in a line...

Anyone have a spreadsheet set up for this?

Have Excel do it for you?

Copy enough of your series next to it, then highlight the copy. In the bottom right of the highlight block is a little square. When your cursor is over the square the cursor changes to cross-hairs, drag the cross-hairs as far as your original list, and let go. Excel will now complete your series.

I have had Excel complete some nasty series, so I think it can handle some real complex ones.

Just compare the tow lists, yours and Excel's? JSW
