Reducing Large Files

Does anyone have insights into how to reduce the size of an Excel file? I have a 10 MB file that is crunching my system. I don't have much VB, it's mostly long sheets with data and formulas. I've gotten rid of empty space at the end of sheets. I've also tried using arrays instead of cell formulas, but this didn't reduce the memory by a significant amount. Any other thoughts?

Make sure you don't have formula's that you don't need. Remember that formulas kill memory a lot fater than data Try copying old formula's and pasting the values only to the sheet whereever it is feasable
