I did something in the past that made personal.xls start every time I start Excel.. How can this be corrected? I have Excel 2000..

Save Personal.Xls in the XLStart folder in Program Files/Microsoft Office/Office

Hi Raad

With Excel open go to Tools>Macros>Record new Macro, select "Personal Macro workbook" from the "store macro in". click Ok then "Stop".

Your personal Workbook will now start each time you run Excel. It will be hidden though.
