Paste .bmp file into cell

Please help me with this one. Is it possible to insert a .bmp file that contains signatures of various employees into a cell?
This worksheet is being used for a mail merge and this would be a huge time saver.
If this isn't possible, is there another solution?

I might not understand exactly what you are trying to accomplish but why dont you just go to insert / picture / file, then select the picture you want to paste into the sheet?
