Numbering

I want to make a column list numbers, i.e.:
1
2
3
4
5
etc...
Is there a command for this?

Autofill
If you enter 1 in cell A1 and 2 in cell A2, highlight both, then hover your mouse pointer over the lttle black square at the bottom right of the highlighted cells, it will turn into a cross, Click and drag down as far as needed.
Is this what you're after?

Enter 1 in cell A1, hover your mouse pointer over the little black square at the bottom right of the the cell, it will turn into a cross, Click and drag down as far as needed, hold down the Ctrl key, release the mouse, release the Ctrl key.
