Number input problem

Excel 2000 - When I input number, e.g. 13, it is entered as 1.3. If I use =13, then it enters correctly as 13. How do I fix this?

Go to Tools>Options>Edit and un-check Fixed Decimal Places (or re-set it to what you want).
