no draw

Hi all,
I have come across a minor worksheet problem and would appreciate some advice from those who have experienced the same.
functions on excel drawing toolbar are greyed out. some feature of the worksheet needs changing to activate them but I dont know which. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Rob,
The problem is simply that the drawing toolbar functions only apply to Drawing (Shape) objects. In order for many of the functions to be enabled (i.e., not greyed out), some Drawing object on the active worksheet must be selected. Only those functions involved with creating new Drawing objects will be enabled all the time.
