Major problems

Hi having major greif with excell.When I enter any spreadsheet the first cell I click on acts as an anchor and I can't use or write i it then to make matters worse I can't use the tool bar or exit the program until I use Alt/Cntl/Del Please I need help.

Is the "Scroll lock" on ?
