Macro to import multiple text files

I have 100 text files in a directory on my hard drive. I am looking for help constructing a macro that will:

1) Import all 100 files without having to do them individually.

2) Ideally the macro will import each file into it's own sheet in the same workbook and then will save the workbook in excel format. So my vision is that as each file is imported the macro will create and name a sheet.

I've tried this on my own but I'm a bit of a neophyte when it comes to programming. Would appreciate any help! Thanks.
