Loss of format / URGENT

I'm having the following problem.. in my sheet I have a column in the currency format 2.345,54 (example) when I save this file to a txt-file with a macro I have written the currency format is changed to "2,345.54" (also between quotes) but when I save this manually the format does not change. Is there anyone who knows how to correct this or why Excel changes the format? Thanks

It looks like an internationalisation problem. It appears to look at differet settings, see if the setting in Excel is the same as the regional settings in the control panel.

I remeber vaguely to have seen on the office pages an update for office in relation to this problem, if above does not give a solution, look at the office support pages.
