Linking Data

Hi
Basically what I am looking at doing is being able to create some kind of database containg all our stock codes, item descriptions and prices. Then this would mean that when I create the invoices on another worksheet that all i need to complete would be the stock item number. The Item description and prices would be automatically completed getting the data from the database. Is this possible and if so how. Thanks this would be a great help as this has been doing my head in for a long time Thankyou
