Is it possible to create a single custom header across several worksheets?

It seems that I must create a new header/footer for each sheet in my Excel files. There ought to be a way to create one header/footer that will be printed on each sheet. Thanks...

Before creating your header/footer just group the worksheets
that you want to bear that header/footer. This grouping can
be achieved by clicking on the tab of the 1st worksheet that
you want to format and then Shift+click on the last worksheet
to be included in the group. For more info on grouping check
the Help Topic for "Select sheets in a workbook".
