Installing Excel 5.0

While installing Excel 5.0 on my new computer, I receive the message " unable to find share.exe". How do I get "share.exe" so I can complete the installation?

What type of install did you do, full, min or custom, no other excel on ststem

Iwas trying for a full install and there is no other Excel on the system.

I think share.exe is an Old Dos prgm ??
used for the old install ??

When I installed Excel 5.0 on my old computer, I got help from Microsoft via the telephone. They no longer give telephone help for 5.0. I was able to get 5.0 installed with their help but have forgotten how it was done. HELP!
