I don't think there's a way to do this, but it sure would be cool: Is there a way to change a workbook's default Excel icon for one of my own?

Sure there is! (If you are running windows at least)

1. Just make a shortcut for Excel (right-click and "create shortcut"
2. Right-clik on the shortcut and select properties.
3. On the "Shortcut" tab select "Change Icon..."
