Does any1 know hw to stop the automatic links pop-up box from appearing when i open my .xls workbooks
+ i never want them to be linked....

You inadvertently saved your workbook with another workbook still open. Maybe you did a copy/paste from that other workbook?
Excel has atomatically linked yor workbook to that other workbook?
Check the macros you may see the links, if not then cells in the sheets are linked?
Check this BB and The Ark's for the key-word "Link" you will find that this is a common problem that has been address over and over again!
In MS IE Ctrl-f brings up the key-word search utility!
You may need to RUN a add-in or stand alone utility to find the links?
You will need to manually delete the links in all probability?
With this being the problem it is, I hope MS adds better link control?
I have Excel 2000 and Excel XP both auto-link! So a fix will be slow in comming if ever? JSW
