How do I paste special using merged cells?

Hey there,

I have a spreadsheet that is fairly complicated, and has many columns of different widths, and many hidden columns.

I've copied rows from this spreadsheet to a different page with identical column widths as the original page. Some cells of these rows have formulas in them.

When I copy these cells and try to specially paste them as 'values', it says that it cannot paste because "This operation requires the merged cells to be identical in size".

They should be the same size, since the sheet I'm copying from and specially pasting to are replicas of each other.

It works, if I just copy and paste, but the paste special (as values), will not work.

Is there anything I can do to get this to work?
