How do I delete a macro that I can't even find?

I wanted to assign hyperlinks to "picture objects" in a sheet. The hyperlink would be to a named location in the file. (user would click on a picture of a rabbit to go to the rabbit portion of the file, etc.)
I did this, but didn't like the result, so I deleted the picture object (and with it went the hyperlink, I hoped). I saved, closed and re-opened this file, and now it tells me there is a macro in the file. When I go to the menus Tools>Macro>Macros..., there is nothing there.
I don't know how this invisible macro got there. I have made similar hyperlinks in the past and not generated a macro inadvertently.
How do I get Excel to stop thinking this sheet has a macro?
p.s. I am sadly ignorant of macros in general, so if your response includes macro code, please also tell me where I can quickly learn the basics of the macro art.
Thanks a lot!

Alt F-11
Brings up the VBA editor
Hit contorl - R incase the project explorer is not up.
You will see something called VBAProject(your worksheet name)
Then anything in its subfiolders you can delete the content.

If too confusing send the file and I can delete the macros for you.

Thank you very much. Macros are gone.
