hide formulas when on cell

Is there a way to hide the formula in a cell from the user with the output still functioning and maybe preventing editing the cell?

Make sure the cells with formulas are
1) Locked
2) Hidden

Do this by selecting the cells OR if you have a lot of formula cells then;

Select (Main toolbar) Edit > goto > special > formulas
Click OK

Then select Format > Cells > protection
and click options for Locked & Hidden

The Protect the sheet via

Tools > Protect > Protect sheet
Optional > enter Password

Your formula cells are now uneditable AND hidden
