Hidden files?

I was e-mailed a spreadsheet with the following formula:

=((+VLOOKUP(C$4,EVENTDAYS,14,FALSE)*'C:\Documents and Settings\marvins\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK2D\[Staffing Summaries No Toggle.xls]Staffing-AFT'!G6)+(VLOOKUP(C$4,EVENTDAYS,15,FALSE)*'C:\Documents and Settings\marvins\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK2D\[Staffing Summaries No Toggle.xls]Staffing-AFT'!G32))*'C:\Documents and Settings\marvins\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK2D\[Staffing Summaries No Toggle.xls]Resp Var'!G4

I have no problem understanding the formula, however when I attempt to find the files referenced in the formula, I cannot access them. I used Explorer (Win2K) to look for hidden files in the C:\...OLK2D folder, but didn't see anything with the correct name. I find the name "EVENTDAYS" in the "Define Name" dialog box with the reference pointing to the filename in the formula, but it does not appear when I use F5 to open the "Goto" dialog box. Is there some special method for hidding files in this manner and if so is it possible to view them without a password or being the creator of the file.

Looks to me like someone e-mailed you a file with live links to something on their PC or network. If you attempt to update the links upon opening the file, they'll probably 'blow', which is a good sign that's the problem.
