hidden column

I have encountered this problem twice with worksheets. When column A is hidden and you try to unhide it by either going to Edit/go to/A1/format/unhide or by selecting the whole worksheet by clicking on the box above the rows and to the left of the columns and then Format/unhide. Neither of these worked with this worksheet. Does anyone else have an idea? I was able to copy and paste the complete worksheet to a new worksheet and column A will appear, but I can not unhide it in the original.

Hi Donna

I haven't experienced the exact same problem, but I've had similar. I'm pretty sure that it's due to a corrupt Worksheet, in my case at least.

Donna, is it possible that the column width was
set to 0.17. At that setting the column appears
to be hidden, but isn't and; therefore, Unhide
has no effect. To "unhide" such a column you
must increase the column width.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked the column width and it was set for 10.57. I increased it anyway, but it did not result in the column appearing. Oh well...
