Help. I cant insert a column

I am trying to insert a column on a spreadsheet and a message box pops up saying that i cant shift non blank cells off a worksheet.
it wont let me do it.
any suggestions. ??

Bill,

The problem is that you have something in the last column of the worksheet. It could be either text or formatting. If you formatted an entire row a particular way, you could end up with this problem.
