Height (as in how tall)

Creating a player roster for my hockey team and I'm stumped as to how to get an average and mean for height (in feet and inches). Do I need to create a seperate column for feet and inches? HELP!

Getting avg + mean height in ft & inch depends
on how you have entered your data eg either as
decimal (6.1 ft) or 6'2" as a formated text.
You can create seperate columns BUT there is always
another way depending on your data format.
