forms and validation and skipping unused cells

information needs to be entered in only a few cells of a spreadsheet - how can i make the other cells unalterable. and/or skip between cells that only require an entry

Unlock the cells you want data enetered into and then protect the sheet. This will skip all the locked cells and goto the unlocked cells.
