Following Row or Cell?

I want to know how to make a cell or row follow me down the page so I always know what column I'm in. Know what I'm saying?

I think you want freeze panes, under the windows menu. Selecting this will feeze all cells above and to the left of the active cell when it is activated. Is this what you want?
