Problem: Under Page Setup you can print the Row and Column Headings and it would print out like this:
A B C
1
2
3

With any text within the cells. I want the numbers to print out but can I rename the A B and C. I do not want to put the headers in the cells themselves. Is this possible???

Excel will let you print with ROW & COLUMN headings, to do so; menu click: File - Page Setup - Sheet, then check the box: Row & Column headings. Excel will only automatically do both headings you can not just do one.

You can not change the default headings. You may change how Excel does do some of the things it does, by modifying the sheet tab code, but I do not know if the headings are something you can change. You can turn of sheet headings and use autofill to make new ones in sheet row's & columns. You can also turn off headings all together. Then only your own will show. JSW

Turn off headings & build your own!

Remove automatic headings; Tools - Options - View, uncheck: Row & column headers. Then, enter the first two items of your Row or Column custom headers, block highlight thouse two items, in the bottom Right of the block is a small dark box shaped dot, your cursor will change to a cross when you are on it. Click and drag your range down or across to autofill your new range with your new headers. Do this for one or both Row and/or column headers. Include these in your set print range. Now you have your own headers! JSW
