Excel Converter for Lotus 123

I am running Excel 2000 and now hav the need to be able to open, save, change Lotus 123 files in Excel and also to be able to save Excel 200 to Lotus 123 format as well. Do I need a software converter? If so what converter?

the easiest fix is to save the file each time as either a WK3 or WK4 or as an Excel5.0/95 format. Give that a try and respond back and let me know if it doesn't work.

No macros or code will work if converted as Excel and Lotus use different systems to code. All the converters do is move data from one format to the other with some table formats. Most of the standard sheet functions convert but there are functions in both that do not convert. So if you must work between the two applications, you must keep the projects simple no code and test sheet formulas before you put too much hope in a solution. Your sheet should be a simple table.

No secondary converter works any better than the standard "Save As, file type" in Excel. JSW
