Excel Converter?

Does anyone know of an add-in or converter pack that will allow Excel 5 open Excel 97 files?

I guess this does not exist? And M$ has probably earned most of its profit using this technique to force people to upgrade.

The only available "solutions" are:
* Pay your M$-tax, and upgrade Office and you computer.
* Find a computer with Excel 97 installed.
* Reboot to Linux. Gnumeric is capable of reading Excel97, and save it as Excel5.
