Rob:
Microsoft has a "Viewer" that people can download that will allow them to open up an Excel spreadsheet without actually having excel. This is the website:
http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2000/xlviewer.aspx
You might also be able to hit Alt-Print Screen then "Paste" into a paint file.

I was hoping to find a way to do this without copying and pasting (for users with limited computer skills) and without having others we contact have to download the viewer...but thanks for the input.
Don't ignore all the advise given
Did you not see the Alt+PrintScreen just paste this into the e.mail or word and send it, this all gets done at you end.

First, I'm really trying to keep this as simple and automated as possible. I know for you and I, this may seem like nothing, but to someone with little or no computer experience, its not a simple task, beleive me :P .
Also, this would probably work, but I need to be able to paste the WHOLE sheet, not just the current screen.
But thanks for the idea!
Sorry for the abrupt reply, you didn't say why you didn't go with the second Idea.
can I ask you, Firstly:
In which way do you want the end user (more viewer) to see the file(s)?
How big is the file?
Can the data not be represented in a chart, pivot table, summary (that is one of the reasons we have them)? (these can all be Cut/Pasted into word)
How often will you need to do this?
What apps will the 'viewer' have access to?
Do they work for your Co./outside?
Why do you not like Copy/Paste into something idea? It's you that will have to do it.
answer these and I'll try and give you a direction.
