Drop Down Lists

Please help get me started in creating drop down boxes.
I couldn't find this in "help"

In A1 to A10 type in your list (e.g. apples, oranges, bananas)

Then click on C1 and go on the menu to DATA, then VALIDATE. Under ALLOW choose LIST. Then in field type $A$1:$A$10. Click OK.

In C1 you now have your drop down list. You can copy and paste the cell anywhere you wish.
