Drop down boxes

Is there any way that when you move over or click on a certain cell that you can get a pop up or drop down box to apear with more information that you have put in and when you go of the cell it disapears. Can you do this so that the origanal sheet stays the same and the box apears on top but not covering the whole sheet. your help would be most helpful.

It depends what you really want.

Have you tried adding cell comments. To do this:

- right click on the cell
-select "Insert Comment"
-Type your comment/info
-click somewhere else to close the comment box

Now, when you move the pointer over the cell, the comment will appear.

Try also Data - Validation - Input Message. That way when the user selects the cell, a message will appear.
