drap and drop pics

I need to drag and drop pictures out of a program and into excel. When I try Excel converts it to a bunch of characters. How do I do this? I know it is possible because I have seen it done before, but I believe that person had to modify excel somehow. Any help would be appreciated. I am using excel 2000. Thanks, Travis

Save the pic (right click/save as) and use Insert/Picture/From File!

thanks but i know how to do that, i need to figure out how to drap and drop it for a client of ours, because of the huge amount of files they are tranfering to excel.
