Data format

I am trying to take a row of data and make it into a column. I tried to copy, paste special transpose the archived data, however, it does it in the opposite order. I would like the newest date to appear on the top row as oppose to the new date apearing further down the sheet as time goes on. Does anyone have a shortcut? Thanks in advance.

Why don't you sort your columns so that their
order is reversed before you perform the trans-
position?

For example, A1:D2 contains {"A","B","C","D"}.
Insert a new row 1:1 and enter the values
{1,2,3,4}. Next, select columns A:D and sort
them (choose the "Sort left to right" option)
in descending order.

Now when you do the transpostion your entries
are in the desired order.

After copying, transposing the data in to the column like you already did, sort the column in descending order by highlighting the column, then go to Data -> Sort.
