is it possible to convert an Excel 5 macro into Excel 97. I have some macros that still work well in excel 5 but i would like to transfer them to an '97 spreadsheet

have yet to try it myself, but what you can do is open the macro code in Excel 5, go into the VB editor, and copy then paste it to the VB editor of Excel97.
