Control selecting protected cells

With most cells protected, is there a way to make the cursor (active cell) jump to the next unprotected cell rather than moving down or right per option setting when enter, tab or arrow keys are pressed (or mouse clicked)? In other words, the user wouldn't even be able to select a protected cell. Thanks for any help.
