Combining a narrative explaination in Word with inputs by Excel

I often use a statement something like: "The data shows a minimum value of $xx and a maximum value of $xx. Data point Y has the least variance and indicates a value of $xx."

I would like to have Excel put in the relevant numbers so I can link the statement to Word.

Thanks,
Ken

Ken:
Use the Paste Special Paste Link Option. Open both the Word and Excel Files. Copey the cell you want to link and then go to the Word file and choose Edit>Paste Special. Select the Paste Link option. You will also want to select Paste as "Formatted Text". Repeat for each cell you want to link to Word. This should work for you. Also, in Word you will have choices as to how and when the link is updated. See help for details
