Can the column references for only one worksheets in a workbook be turned off? e.g
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
A
B
C
D

If it can’t be done for just one can it be turned off for all worksheets?

Paul, you can turn off Column and Row headings for one sheet under Tools>Options>View-Column & row headers.


..or in VBA with:

ActiveWindow.DisplayHeadings=False


Don't think it can be done for only Column headings though.

Choose the Tools Options... menu commmand. On the
View tab de-select the "Row & column headers" check
box.
