Cell reference

Hello!
I want to know the cell reference in R1C1 format for a value that i use vlookup to find. This is probably very easy but i have not figured i out. Any help is appreciated.

It's not that easy, and VLOOKUP won't work.
There's an example file on my website:
lookup_cell_addr.zip
It shows one technique that you can use involving the CELL, OFFSET, and MATCH functions.

Straight from Excel helpfile:
"To turn R1C1 reference style on (or off), click Options on the Tools menu, and then click the General tab. Under Settings, select or clear the R1C1 reference style check box."
